Inclusion and Accessibility

The Cap and Gown Club is dedicated to the inclusion and involvement of all people, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexuality, or disability. We are continually striving to improve based on self-reflection, education, and the input of our members and the broader global community.

Committee on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)

This committee’s purpose is to promote racial equity and an inclusive and welcoming environment at Cap. This committee will help recognize issues faced by Black, Indigenous, and Person of Color (BIPOC) members at Cap, while engaging in conversations and promoting initiatives to support these groups. This committee will also emphasize Cap’s commitment to access and diversity, regardless of race, gender, sexuality, or ability, and will offer members a voice on the board to express their needs.
